4:00 pm - Youth Preselection
4:30 pm - Adult Preselection
5:30 pm - The DRAFT
6:00 pm - Top 8 - 1 Round Each
7:00 pm - Top 4 - 12 mins battle
7:30 pm - Finals - 15 Min battle

The Breaking Draft returns to Rock Harder!

We also have a Community Draft with a twist. Happening on March 21st at the Harbourfront Centre room, The Lookout we will host The Breaking Draft.

8 captains alongside 16 Adult, 16 Youth will form crews of 5 in a classic traditional school yard pick ’em.

Top 40 will be selected where the 24 adults and 16 Youth (U17) make up the pool. The Top 8 adults will be team captains that will select their squads in a snake draft!

Youth Age is U17 (Born on or before December 31, 2009).

The draft will be 2 round snake youth, followed by 2 round snake draft for the adults. The draft is complete when all captains have selected their team of 5.

Snake draft example:

first overall pick will be comprised of 1 Captain (8th Seed), the 1st Youth (Rd 1), 16th Youth (Rd2), 1st Adult (Rd 3), and 16th Adult (Rd 4)
eighth overall pick will be comprised of 1 Captain (1st Seed), the 8th Youth (Rd 1), 9th Youth (Rd 2), 8th Adult (Rd 3), and 9th Adult (Rd 4)

Top 8 format will be as follows:

Top 8 - 1 round each
Top 4 - 12 min
Finals - 15 min
